Marek Goban wins the GWL 2010
In the last round, Marek played out a 'grandmaster draw' with Oissine Murphy to take the title with Pedro Quaresma in 2nd and Lorcan O'Toole 3rd.
The main issue on final night was who was going to win the grading prizes. Ruairi McKenna-Carroll (above, right) finally came through a very tight game with Alan Delahunty that went right down to the wire and so claimed the U-1200 grading prize (see below, receiving his prize from tournament organiser David Path)- well done Ruairi
The other grading prize was won by Eamon Abberton with a strong score of 5/7. Well done to you too!
