The Dun Laoghaire Festival of Chess runs from 20th-29th of August 2010 with lots of chess stuff going on for everyone.

Former club champ Pete Morriss did really well at the recent British Seniors which finished up on Aug 7th last.

Bray Rapid Event:

Galway Chess club was represented most ably by two of our leading lights Ziadan Zukipli and Oissine Murphy !!  A six round event with a time control of 25 mins each played on the last Sunday in June.  A very well run and enjoyable event.
